Bridges

Spaces resulting from missing teeth can result in problems with chewing. Other teeth adjacent to the space may slowly shift out of position and this can affect the way your teeth fit together. Missing teeth can be replaced with a fixed bridge providing there are healthy teeth on both sides of the space for support. Bridges are made of porcelain, gold, or a combination of the two materials. During your first visit, we’ll prepare your teeth and then take an impression of the prepared teeth. We will make a temporary bridge to put in the space and send the impression to a dental laboratory to fabricate the bridge. At your next visit, we will try-in the bridge to guarantee a good fit and then cement the bridge.
